While I would love to achieve LT Plat at a young age you still have 20, 30, 40, or even 50 years left of traveling. What will LT Plat mean in that many years? The way airline/hotel programs devalue overtime it might not mean much a long time from now...There could be so many LT Plats and regular Plats that upgrades could be very hard to get, or maybe they create a higher satus level 20 years down the road and Plat becomes the new Gold.

Either way I would still love to achieve it 8 years and 430 more nights from now
