That's embarrassing to say the least. I'm glad I found this out now before it was to late. I guess I will give some business to AA or DL when I take my GF to Hawaii I'm tired of explaining every time I take her to LA or HNL why I would pay good $$ for this kind of service (She's a German citizen and EK F/A so has no clue what it's like to fly within the U.S.)

Last year I met her in HNL where she came into LAX non stop on EK in C and transferred to a CO 737 from LAX-HNL. She was so furious when she landed in HNL that they charge F prices for that and on a 737 to boot. I didn't hear the end of it all vacation. It's a very very common complaint from passengers coming from Europe to Hawaii. They expect some kind of TPAC service (haha)
