4. ZRH-JFK (Jan 4, 2012) LX14 A330-300 [HB-JHD] (Economy: 38A)
After a week in Switzerland, it was time to go back to work. I went to the airport and check out Swiss Senator Lounge. It was ok, at least had some Indian Rice to offer. The service was quite similar to the flight JFK-GVA earlier on the trip. I ended up did some work the whole flight. The flight time was 8.35 hrs.

Then 5 minutes after that, it was sunny again:

Once I arrived at JFK Terminal 4, the arrival hall was so packed. I hadn’t seen something like that before (even from the same terminal). It took like an hour and a half to clear the immigration. I was trying to get to terminal 7 earlier so that I could get an earlier flight and went to see my friend in SFO earlier. I ran and ran through the security at terminal 7. The gate agent finally let me in to the earlier flight (but in Y+), I settled in and went to the toilet. When I came out they said I had to go, cuz the late passenger that they offload finally showed up and they had a connection to AKL. Oh well, at least I would get PS service in Business class. I then spent the next 2 hours in United Club at Terminal 7.

5. JFK-SFO (Jan 4, 2012) UA389 B757-200(PS) (Business: 7A)
It was my first time on UA PS Business (only did First and Economy before), it was basically the same as AA Business on the route but honestly I like AA better only because I like to be on wide-body aircrafts. Sorry for the lack of photos on the flight, I accidently deleted the photos from the camera. I had steak for the main course but it was kinda dry. The flight time was 5.40 hrs and I spent that night in SFO.

6. SFO-SEA (Jan 5, 2012) UA276 A320-200 (Domestic First: 3F)
The flight was uneventful. The flight time was 1.40 hrs. A cookie was served

Conclusion
This trip was not a mileage run but I need more miles in my account and it was a fun trip. It was cheap for New Year time $835, but not cheap in general.
Cathay: Great that they op.up me, so that went beyond expectation. The service was great as usual: polite, great food, great seat, great FA. I had nothing to criticize.
Swiss: It was just another Y flight, yet better than American Carriers.
United: The PS service was good, just another average UA service.
