I got the Sapphire Preferred card and I have but all of my spend on it. 2 points / dollar that's transferrable to BA, UA, WN (bleh) and KE along with hotels is much more valuable because of its versatility. I have the Chase United visa that gets 3x points on UA.com that I no longer use. For short haul flights you can get an award ticket for only 9,000 miles round trip! Not bad for last minute redemptions.
