Just curious if anybody else has had any issues. I had some tickets for Easter weekend that were issued as dynamic air awards that I cancelled the travel on about a week in advance.

The miles were not redeposited initially and there were a lot of miles at stake, over 200,000. About May 1'ish spoke to the CK desk folks, they pushed me through to someone in AAdvantage accounting who did a whole bunch of stuff and said they'd be posted.

The miles didn't show, so called back last week. Left it with a very helpful CK rep to chase and the miles did finally get redeposited. They showed up with a weird entry, I assume due to some manual posting being done:

AWARD OF 2012-01-13 REINSTATED (1/13/12 was the original issue date of the tix)

Is this a one-off, or should I anticipate issue if I use a Dynamic Air Award and have to cancel?
