Trying to book a ticket from JFK to Berlin and found one for <$700 on united.com. The outbound flights are on Brussels Airlines in fare code K.

On the MP page for Brussels Airlines, it says K does not accrue Premier Qualifying miles, but when I try to purchase the ticket, the site says I would receive 100% for PQ.

The return is on a United plane so not worried about those miles.

I would like the purchase this ticket but not if I can't get the miles into my status miles account. I am struggling to achieve 1K this year so every mile is important for me. Could someone enlighten me on the conflicting info?
