If UA is going back and retroactively adjusting mileage accruals for US, count on them getting a lot of complaints. It's just petty when they have so many other IT issues to fix at the moment. The other thing I'd worry about is that in making any retroactive adjustments that UA breaks something else, such as causing flights to outright vanish, properly-posted flights to repost incorrectly, etc.

I do wonder what will happen to pax who get knocked down a level in status due to retroactive adjustments, who will potentially lose RPUs & GPUs (or will they get a second set when crossing the thresholds again?), etc.
