The GM, Michael Purtill, has done an amazing job here. Service is excellent, I agree, and the views even better than when the hotel first opened over 10 years ago. The best thing are the boat taxis that whisk you down the river to Chelsea or wherever in no time at all, thus avoiding the traffic. It is a fabulous London bolthole during the summer. Should be packed for the Olympics as it is almost next door to the main stadium.
