As you said the flights are in August by that point all BD operated domestic flights will have changed to BA codes. Most likely Lufthansa will rebook you under the BA code or move you to a suitable Star Alliance connection. It's unlikely the LH codeshare will remain on this route when BA moves the flight to their code.
