Unfortunately, this trip to India, all I am seeing is things going backward. A silly rule of if you don't use your sim card for 60 days, then it is deactivated required me to get a new number. Provide them a photograph, an address proof (for a prepaid connection that too), and 4 hrs later, my sim card is still not active. I am not sure why they need 4 hours to activate a prepaid connection, but there you have it.
