Perhaps you forget all the 25xx 777 are just like 66xx 763 have no PTV in the first place in the entire plane, which means if they are going to put PTV even just for F, they need to take the plane out for weeks in order to rewire the entire plane !
I would bet $5 they would be the first planes to get the wifi streaming IFE with an IPAD charging station in the gally to hold 50 odd IPAD's or something similer like the digi players on the PS flights
Minimal re-wiring while fixing the IFE issues
If they pull the overhead displays out as well the net will probobly be a weight loss for the whole plane
