Just an update - I've finally managed to apply and got it approved. It asked for any existing Amex cards and I gave it my Corporate card number. On the final page, it was still saying that the first year fee will be waived. So I hope that the offer was applied, but will only know that once the card comes through I guess. I might just give them a call then to confirm that the offer of bonus miles is valid on the card.
