The technology certainly exists. Trip Advisor has taken it to a new level.

I searched for some hotel dates on a specific Hawaiian island. I eventually booked a small hotel by calling them. Once the dates of the stay (as searched on TA) were over, I received an email from them, with the subject "did you take that trip to Hawaii", then another email a few days later with the subject
" so how was your stay at XXXXX hotel in Hawaii". Blew my mind and scared me. Installed a blocking software but also never searched for hotels or airfare again on TA.

So if I search for award tickets for the same destination every day, when not logged in, can the award inventory be also affected?
