Well my bag was tagged all the way to MEX, unless there is some special code i needed to make sure it was not loaded on the carousel, there it was when i had cleared immigration.
Do share if you are aware or what i need to tell at check in, i would prefer avoiding transit in the US, but when it is the only option, might as well save some headache. BTW they clearly had a board after customs that TSA will not allow us to carry any liquids and that they need to be moved into my checked in bag or put in the trash.
