They are both quite dreadful.

Used LIN for a BA arrival last August, and felt like we were in Africa. An absolute third-world zoo. Used Malpensa for the return and were thoroughly unimpressed with the check-in facilities and the rather dour lounge.

Would be reluctant to fly into or out of either in the future.
