Pretty much everyone knows that when you see "CANCELLED",
you're screwed, and you're lucky to get on the next flight. Really LAX to SFO for about an hour's flight time is NO BIG DEAL in ANY seat especially when flying from NRT. If it were me, I'd wait for a few days for the jet-lag to subside and then I'd forget the whole incident! I mean what are you going to get from the NEW UA, except a lot of manufactured b.s., and it ain't worth the trouble, imho! Also, as others have mentioned NH is the tree that you should be barking up!!!
