I arrived in San Diego (from Vancouver) on September 10th, 2001.

On 9/11 my TA was able to secure a one-way rental car from San Diego to SEA. Early on 9/12 we started north and on 9/13 we arrived at SEA, dropped off the rental and picked up a British Columbia-plated car which the TA had arranged and we were able to drive one-way to YVR. We were home.

The car rental place in San Diego was a zoo - Thanks to our TA we were in and out in 10 minutes.
