I've been to Toronto at least 11 times, and it's totally lost its lustre, and that's why I like it. It feels like the second home that New York doesn't feel like. I have favorite stores there rather than favorite museums.

Also, I'm going to Montreal in July for the second time this year. I love it there too, but lately the weather's been weird when I go.
Heh - I can relate to all of this. I live in NYC and often feel like I'd be quite happy to part company with this place for a good long time, if not forever. Of course, Times Square makes everyone want to bash themselves in the head.

As to Toronto - completely agree. I lived there for about six months a few years ago, but each time I go back it just feels so comfortable. I have favorite stores too (Bodyblue on Danforth, heh), as well as favorite restaurants, cafes, running paths...

And I've already talked about Montreal. I haven't been for a while, but all this weekend I've been obsessively watching Les Appendices skits online
