True, every version of Membership Rewards is different in details. The USA version has no internal transfer mechanism. Customer Service will make exceptions for family circumstances, but certainly not for a commercial sale. On the other hand, some versions of Membership Rewards will only permit transfers to the frequent flyer or hotel program accounts of the primary cardholder, but the USA version also permits transfers to the accounts of supplementary cardholders.

As mentioned, USA Membership Rewards seldom verifies that the recipient is, in fact, an additional cardholder, but seldom is not the same as never. Discretion is adviseable, and working though a commericial broker is not discreet.
