If I use a referrer to apply for this card, will it mean I get

or

Sadly the second one.
But it is still a cracking deal for a free (first year) card. [And the best Amex charge card for spend earning - it actually earns more than the Amex plat]
The second question is around the "only available to new American Express Charge Cardmembers" bit - I hold a Corporate Charge Card (Green), which was provided by my employer. Does this disqualify me from the offer?
Humm.
If it said 'new customers' then there would be no doubt in my mind you WOULD qualify, as your employer is the customer.
However, 'cardmembers' is tricky, they could try to define that as people the card has been issued to.
I'd guess (pure guess) you would qualify and get them, especially in practice regardless of policy.
N.b. how much info did you give to Amex as part of your corporate card setup? Do they actually have your home address? etc. Will they know it is the same 'you'?
If you wanted to be certain, or have something to hold them to, you could ask them.
