I never even considered that it might not credit, always thought the only important thing is who the operating carrier is. :-( I do see that on the SkyMiles partner chart it says "AeroMexico marketed flights". (I didn't actually choose this flight, it was pretty much forced on me, so I can't say that this was a factor, although I guess I could have pushed back harder.)
