Out of experience from last night:

I caution everyone to PRINT AND CARRY the emails you received from Korean Air & your OTA when arriving in RGN.

TG Lady said 'oh you have one of THOSE tickets, I'm afraid you will have to purchase a new ticket'.

After explaining (NICELY!) and giving her the printouts plus offering her to keep the copy things were ok. I did a turnaround FWIW.

Some hints from my side for those who are interested:

- Be nice !
- Print your Correspondence
- Carry a second copy in case you have to hand the first one over
-> Email on phone is NOT sufficient/practical
- Stay calm if this situation comes up, everything can be explained
-Be nice !

Korean Air BKK-ICN was a disappointment to say the least but well that's about what I feared (I did not expect them to reach the level of SQ/CX/TG).

Arrived ex RGN at C7 and then walk to transit West (about 1.5 km, no pickup). The transfer counter is upstairs, to get through security you will need again a copy of your ticket to show. Upstairs 2 counters and a bit confusing, the counter with the SkyTeam Flag was closed. There is another one opposite side about 15m away. Got my bp there (TG handles the KE counter but bp's are printed on KE paper). F pax receive a voucher for the CIP First Class Lounge, a disgraceful hole in the wall and also a regular Priority Pass Lounge (NOT worth your time!). I proceeded to the Air France Lounge that the Business Class Passengers use as well. IMHO absolutely superior to the CIP s***thole.

Boarding was a mess, called like 5 Groups at once 'F,C, Skyteam Elite, Pax with assistance, Pax with children'

Flight itself: The seat a bit newer than it shows on the website, load 2/6. Crew friendly but a bit helpless. No amenities, headphones are the same as in Economy, menu gave a breakfast option which I declined and slept instead until 5 mins prior to landing. Drink Menu seemed decent, not sure what was actually available, I just had sparkling water and juice (midnight departures are not my favorite cup of tea and even the champagne [Laurent Perrier Rose Brut] would have not done me well.

At the Hyatt ICN right now, resting a bit. Afternoon it's A380 time!

Cheers!
