Look, I know irony is cheap but honestly, what other possible reaction can this elicit? I could try reasoning, or appealing for mercy, but what's the BP?
I know, I know, and I agree 100%. Under normal circumstances it would be horrendous.
Wifi is the last thing I want, and on a packed BA J cabin would hate it. On an A330 with 27 other people, 2 of which are in my cabin, none within 5 (J) rows of me, sitting in a 1 (window), not a sole person could hear me (bar the lovely person filling up my glass). I don't answer phones on trains as I think it's rude, so only tested due to my complete privacy in this instance.
Deep down it's a terrible idea, like the Underground currently testing mobile phone signals. In words of a far more sensible Irishman 'Ban this Sick Filth'!.
