There must be more to the story here. I hope the gossip eventually comes out. There is a shortage of restaurant seating at this FS and I could see FS just making it into a non-signature restaurant. I never had to wait to get in to L'Atelier and never had to make a reservation -- this may be part of the problem. Try that at FS HK and you get laughed at. I'm not a foodie so my opinion would add nothing to this thread. I do remember frantically asking the front desk at checkout to put the $750 on a separate bill so that my significant other didn't see the damage. And would somebody tell me how to avoid drinking so much when consuming an 8-course 'pairing' menu?
