Yes they did.

It was, however, one of the first destinations to be "Jetstarised" - soon after that and with an outcry from (presumably wealthy) business class travellers they re-introduced 737 QF services from the South. This lasted but only for a relatively short time.

Do not Qantas have codeshares on the JQ HTI routes? (Awards and international bookings)
