Stayed in both hotels. WA is a beautiful hotel with large well furnished rooms with an iconic view really perfect for a first time visitor. Restaurants and shopping nearby are high end and western. Hilton Shanghai is a more standard Hilton offering, although it is in a great neighborhood for getting around. There is lots to do and see around the hotel. It is in a more residential area than the Bund. It depends on what is important to you. diamonds treated well in both hotels.
