I kind of like the schedule of the HND flights. It gives you time to get to LAX after work if you're coming from the East Coast. Flying HND - DTW allows you to get home or to work the day you leave. I'm doing DTW - PEK, which was pretty wide open in August in biz. and taking EastarJet to end up in Tokyo from Seoul. Home from HND to DTW... wiiiiidddeee open, any day, any class. Love it.

I will say that having spent 13+ hours at HND the early morning/morning after the 3/11 earthquake, the service, amenities and overall professional experience of workers (Delta employees specifically) is nothing compared to NRT. I do understand that the circumstances were extremely stressful, but still.
