The rep was wrong (as were you). 60K points for 4 nights (w/ 5th night free) is for a Cat 3; it is 80K points for a Cat 4. There is no 65K for 4 nights, either for a Cat 3 or a Cat 4.

As far as I can tell, your property was not on the points saver list so not sure it 'disappeared' for your dates. The list of properties with point savers has traditionally been slim, and I don't see Mexico on the list.

Where the rep screwed up that worked in your favor is adding 15K to your account. You can hope it goes unnoticed in which case you're really coming out ahead on this trip since you're also doing the Gold challenge to get free i-net & lounge access!

But if it does get caught, you've got the option of buying the 10,000 points, which would cost you $125.00.

BTW - check your account to see if it still shows the free night cert. If not, then the rep might have converted it to points for you so you'd have enough for the 80K, but you no longer have the cert.
