Well, my AA miles finally posted today, only 42 days after opening my account. Finally got through to the right person with TD and they were able to do something with American to get the miles posted. It was nice to see the miles show up because I had pretty much given up hope and was a day or two away from canx my TD account.

Like the poster above, I was told that the second half of my miles would post sooner than the normal six months because TD has ended its relationship with American and they wanted to just "get it over with."

What a pain. I hate chasing miles. Seems ridiculous that these processes take SO long in 2012.
