A couple of notes on hotels.
Note that Burswood is renaming to Crown Perth from 1 July, and at that time the two hotels will be leaving the IHG portfolio of hotels. Not sure what the hotel names will be, but Crown something!
The Parmelia Hilton in Perth does not have an executive lounge. Nevertheless, I will likely be in the bar tomorrow night
I used to know the bar manager there - will check out if he is still around.
What was the Sheraton is now the Pan Pacific (
http://www.panpacific.com/en/Perth/Overview.html), and is opposite from the Novotel.
While hotels are expensive in Perth, there are often good prices around on the weekends. The Hilton often has a special of Fridays.
Also, note that the Hilton and Hyatt are at opposite ends of town. There is a
Free Transit Zone in Perth, and catching a Transperth bus , such as between these two hotels, is free in this zone.
