But sadly we have the usual suspects who make this forum so unwelcoming. Telling someone they ought to move on from something they care deeply about is pretty crass.
Oh for God's sake. If this had happened last week you might have a point. Or even if it'd happened last year. Or even 5 years ago. Or maybe, even 10. But 22? Surely after over two decades one can
ask whether it might be better to move on?
Obviously people are entitled to their own opinion, so here's mine: whilst 149 was a horrible event and no doubt deeply traumatic for all involved I'm 99% sure that it was cock-up as opposed to conspiracy. And that's based on having experienced the quality of British Government "assistance" in the Gulf through two wars, countless attempted coups and the 'Arab Spring'.
However, if I turn out to be wrong, I'll happily change my opinion.
