I checked the on-time performences at AirAsia und Thai on the BKK-RGN Route at flightstats.com a couple of days ago.

The early morning flight on AirAsia seems to be the first rotation of the day and has a very good on-time performence. Highest delay was 20min since March, which is much lower than TG, not even talking about PG.
