Welcome to FlyerTalk, FliesForWork, and welcome to the hospitality wing formerly known as the BAEC board! Please stay around and keep us posted, new faces are always welcome. The friendly mob within will cheerfully answer your questions and the team of ambassadors are at your service too.

Mexico airport is a white marble affair, plenty of shops, but, well, it's an airport. The lounge there is AA, one of the better ones though that is not saying a lot. The transfer process was rather slow when I last went through there about a year ago, but 8 hours will be more than plenty. Given the traffic situation around the airport it's probably the best and safest approach to stay put.
