Cell Phones on VS flights - Really?

I've read that Virgin Atlantic (my favorite airline in the world) will allow people to talk on their cell phones during flights. Can this really be true? I would jump out the window if I had to listen to some moron yap on his/her cell phone on a flight to London. Does anyone have any concrete information? I fly SFO-LHR two or three times a year and really look forward to my flights in Upper Class. I don't want to find another carrier, I love VS. But no way will I put up with this kind of noise pollution.
