Using Korean Airline points on Air France

I believe that you can use your Korean Airline points (obtained from Chase Ultimate Rewards) to book travel on Air France.

I tried logging in to my new Skypass account and doing a reward booking for the following (just to see if it worked).

1) IAD-CDG (stop for 7 days)
2) CDG-MRU (stay for 7 days)
3) MRU-IAD (via CDG but with no stop)

I was told from an email from KAL that I could include a stopover on Air France.

Is that something you have to do on the phone and that's why I couldn't do it online? It failed at the CDG-MRU flight.

Flight # 2 is actually Air Maritius, codeshared by Air France. Does that make a difference?

Thanks!
