When I did my BA inquiry, it should me nothing for my desired dates (out on the 5 and back on the 12) when AA show a bunch.
On aa.com and on ba.com. ba.com provides two outbound itineraries and four returns. You need to be sure to include partners in your search after the initial search fails.
The BA booking engine often does not show partner availability. Usually people look for availability on aa.com (milesaaver) then call and provide the flights to ba. In this case it is working.
