I just got off the phone, I needed to book a flight so I called Winston-Salem, beyond a long 15 minute hold, the reservation agent was not great, had difficulty with simple tasks, but what really stuck in my throat was I was a addressed by first name, not as Mr. XYZ, now I referred to the reservation agent as Ma'am as I didn't have her last name, does this strike anyone else as a faux pas? I was raised that you always referred to someone as Mr./Ms./Dr./Mrs./Rev. Last Name, am I just antiquated or am I right on having my hackles up on this one.
