OW fares can sometimes increase TSA attention and with some country/passport combos OW flights are not allowed for international itineraries.

Any more detail on the types of itineraries (Countries / passport combos) that do not allow one way flights?
I know that many countries have rules that you must be able to show some type of onward travel plans/tickets within any relevant visa or waiver times, but I can't think of any situations which completely ban one way flights....
