I have always disliked the kindergarten lines. It's very frustrating when you know where to go and you have the proper documentation to do so, to wait in a line designed to help folks along.

I agree - in Japan, these lines are only for tour groups who need to stick together. There are no kindergarten walks out to the train with an overpaid line leader.
