I've stayed five times the past year as a Diamond. I pay the Govt. rate each time ($139), which is low compared to the average daily (weekday) rate. But I've been upgraded 3 of 5 times to a suite, and of course always provided free internet and RC access. The only thing that kept me from being upgraded during my last stay was that a sports team was there and had taken the suites.
Just an update--something has clearly changed in the past 6-months. I've not received a suite upgrade in my past half dozen stays. Each time I'm told they are not available, I check in to the hotel website and there are clearly suites available for purchase. Although I enjoy this hotel, I'm going to change my stays to the GH downtown where I am upgraded every time as a diamond.
