We used them at New Year between Manhattan & JFK, and had no problems at all. 4 of us with oodles of baggage, requested a mini-van, got a mini-van, nice bloke driving, great price, would happily use them again ! ^
I had a really shoddy experience with them last year. Had used Limores to get me into Manhattan from LGA and that was incredibly slick.
Booked Carmel for the return (price difference was significant), car didn't show up. I must have made 5 calls to the dispatcher (on a UK mobile) to try and find out what was going on, but to no avail - they couldn't give me a straight answer and it was compounded that the road we'd agreed for the pick up happened to be used as a parking lot for about a dozen town cars. I then told them to cancel but struggled to find a cab as it was changeover time. A rather stressful drive out to LGA then followed....
They didn't even so much as apologies for the screw up. There's plenty of folk out there who can do a competent job. I just don't think Carmel is one of them.
