At last reward flights for upgrade have opened up
We have two Premium Economy tickets (T) however when we went to do the upgrade the agent has advised that in addition to the tax costs (which we accept) we have to pay ticket change fees. Is this correct? Stupidly I had thought it was just a straight application of the Avios (we are going to EWR on Thursday)
We did not go ahead as it was heading to be more expensive than a POUG (if they offer one, we will take our risk)
Guy on the phone was really sharp and told us to read the terms and conditions if I had any questions - ouch!

Update Ive just read the terms and conditions, it says T can upgrade with Avios but makes no mention of a change fee, can someone point me to it for my education?
