Vancouver Airport implements Common Use Self-Service (CUSS) kiosks

<font face="Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2">
This week, the Vancouver International Airport Authority announced the implementation of its CUSS kiosks. The CUSS kiosks are like our own Express Check-in kiosks except they are owned, installed and operated by airport authorities. The issue of possible crowding at airports from airlines' kiosks prompted the development of international kiosk standards through an IATA steering committee, which Air Canada chaired. The CUSS kiosks allow an increase in passenger processing capacity, without having to add significant terminal space. Our customers in Vancouver will continue to experience the same convenient Air Canada Express Check-in service on any of the Vancouver Airport's own CUSS kiosks. This cost-effective, shared hardware solution will make our award-winning Express Check-in service available to even more customers elsewhere in our network.
