......And do think i will start my wife account after all. I decided not to go for my wife account when everyone talking about the multiple $3 ESSO at the same time might not work. Now that we all know it work, I can't stop myself not going to do it at a ESSO station late night afterall.
So... I did it for my wife... started with:
24th --- just 1 x $3 ESSO fill-up
25th --- then 6 x $3 ESSO fill-up & 1 x $3.xx dollar purchase @ Sobeys
26th --- another 6 x $3 ESSO fill-up, 2 x $25 Giftcard @ ESSO, and the ESSO attendent ask me to swipe the card on a customer that walk-in, put down the cash and go
27th --- another 8 x $3 ESSO fill-up, 3 x $6 ESSO (long story), 6 x $25 Giftcard @ ESSO, and nicely ask a customer paying cash with no reward card to let me swipe the card
Total 35 transactions.
As others had said it, the ESSO attendent also told me that this promo actually get more customer coming in.
Also for me, I now know which station near my home has the better gas price for premium grade - even if the price is the same for regular grade. Which one that is the most busy, even at 2am in the morning.
... And learn that a lot of teenages / young adults these days do buy all those expense stuff at a Gas station... while they do not know (or care) about any rewards (while I do)
Lastly, also know which station will (might) let me buy giftcard with an ESSO giftcard even with the new rule (as they told me) that giftcard can only be purchase with Cash or Debit.
With the 5 x ESSO promo ending in July 31, I now know where I should spend my time to get most of my purchase, at what time, at which station... which with the higher chance to get my card swipe at those no reward card customer
