2-5-2 is still my favourite configuration on the 777, and yes I've sat in the middle of the row of 5 before...
I have been on a 747 or 777 with oddball 2-4-3 in coach, but I can't remember
which airline... it was a long time ago. It made the most sense to me because only
1 person in each row was two seats away from the aisle.. (when there are 10 seats
in a row)
