In reading the terms and conditions I am a little unclear - it states "Bonus transactions, where members earn both base miles & bonus miles from the same activity, are not qualifying transactions."

Does this just mean if the bonus posts separately the BONUS doesn't qualify for 2 stars, or is the whole transaction now invalid?

I ask because simultaneous to this promo is a travel promo where you get bonus miles for hotels/flights/car rentals and that would kill about 1/2 my stars.

I asked for an email yesterday to confirm and have seen nothing.

Anyone know beyond a guess?
