Some of the signage is terrible.

At MSY yesterday morning they were having another mini-meltdown. The main checkin line was several hundred people long and stretched from the desk right through the food court and into the next lobby. Eventually I tracked down the one and only premier-looking line, which was labelled:

*Premier Access*
Global Services
Premier 1K
Premier Platinum
Global First
United BusinessFirst

which as a Premier Gold travelling not in Global First or BusinessFirst but merely in plain old First didn't seem to apply to me. Still, after twenty minutes in line (note: there were only six people ahead of me, it was just taking forever to do anything) they did eventually take my bag.

Actually this sign wasn't placed *at* a line, it was placed between one line and another one. I never figured out what the other one was for.
