I have been flying PHX-JFk now since Jan, the meals on these flights have been first rate, the breakfast meals have been excellent, For a while, the two options were French toast and Oatmeal, I would switch it up, lately the other opition has been a southwest egg quesadilla which is very good. My return flights have been dinner flights, and yes the chicken teriyaki has been offered, I haven't found it to be all that great, but miles ahead on what US was servering. The Beef Short ribs (yes UA, more then one) are out of this world, the mash potatoes are excellent, creamy and with great flavor. In the 9 months 99% of my flights on US have a meal served, and have to day, I haven't gotten on in which I sent back... Can't be said about UA...

The fruit was edible as was the roll.

I guess I should have opted for the oatmeal...

The meal on our FC flight from Barbados to CLT in April was average at best. I had the beef. Very fatty. I'd liken it to a meal at Denny's.
