I have redeemed LOTS of C&P including Iguazu and Tambo del Inka. However, no one has said it directly, but I'll bet that the change in policy of allowing rewards (including C&P) stays to count towards status requalification MUST have made a big difference. For instance, I had a long leisure trip last Spring through Eastern/Central Europe, and always opted for the cash pay option, even if C&P was attractive, because I wanted it to count towards status. Now, though, that calculus is different for me. I'm willing to wager that with a product, like C&P, which is already in limited supply, the increase in the value of said product has caused it to be pursued more aggressively and for "stock" to "run out" more quickly.
