I had a one way award ticket on hold and I purchased the ticket yesterday, now, about 16 hours later I still have no ticket number and the status is still "purchased". AA tells me everything is alright, but I'm a little concerned I've never had to wait so long for a ticket number in the past. Is this the new norm - please tell me that isn't so. Is there anything I should be concerned about? I have checked availability for the award seats and they are no longer available. I have saved a screen shot of the reservation, that's all that I can think of doing for now. I also called my credit card company and there have been no charges to my account.

Any advice on what to do, I can't afford to lose the flights as my travel dates aren't flexible.
